Rap is Crap

I remember when Eminem was big. Thank God that was short-lived, as I have come to have quite a distaste for lyrical gangsters. Though, I have to say my biggest hang up with the Hip-hop scene, is the complex that single white males seem to be infected with.

Let's take my brother for example. Not a bad looking guy, did well in high school, used to have dreams of being a sports journalist. But, somewhere along the way, cRAP happened. Now his biggest dream is to be a rap star. I can say that he nearly fits the part, with the upturned flat bill hat (sticker still inside), or the g-unit jacket over the XXXL shirts that swallow him up. Hell, my brother even has a pretty decent voice. But lets face it the rap industry is slowly fading, and its about damn time, I'm tired of the rhymes, clouding up my mind, my thoughts I cannot find........

And yes, my booty lookin fine.

Also, as an English major, I find rap to be thoroughly degrating to the English language and many of the fine grammar rules that can and should be used. There is no reason why words should be cut in half, or have the suffixs dropped. And who the hell gave rappers permission to make up words? Gertrude is the only one allowed to do that. DULK!

So yes, I have to say that rap is crap. And white boys shouldn't pop their collars.
